How is the boat going?

Hey there! It sounds like you're referring to RoKKiT KiT's new boat and its performance based on the video context provided. From what I gathered, the boat seems to be performing quite well overall with a few minor adjustments and tests still ongoing.

Performance Highlights:

  1. Stability and Balance: The new boat appears to be very stable, which is crucial for any fishing trip, especially when you're moving around or casting. RoKKiT KiT mentioned testing balance points and finding it super stable, which is a good sign for both fishing and other activities like spearfishing and free diving.

  2. Motor Adjustments: There were some initial concerns with the motor, particularly at higher speeds where it felt like it was losing power intermittently. However, after some adjustments and further testing, it seems to be starting reliably and performing better. It's always a bit nerve-wracking to rely on a secondhand motor, but it looks like it's holding up well after some tweaks.

  3. Speed and Handling: The boat seems to handle well in both calm and slightly choppy waters. RoKKiT KiT mentioned hitting a top speed of around 40 knots, which is quite impressive. This speed is beneficial for quickly reaching fishing spots or escaping bad weather.

  4. Deck Space and Usability: The boat has a lot of usable deck space, which is great for fishing. More space means more room for gear, and it allows for better maneuverability when you're reeling in a big catch. The inflatable sides also add to the versatility and safety of the boat.

  5. Sounder Issues: There was a minor issue with the sounder (fish finder) settings, but it was quickly resolved. Accurate readings from your sounder are essential for locating fish, so it's good to see this was sorted out.

Tips for Bass Fishing from a Boat:

  • Positioning: Always be mindful of your boat's positioning relative to your fishing spot. Use your trolling motor to make subtle adjustments without spooking the fish.
  • Sounder Use: Make sure your fish finder is correctly calibrated and set to the appropriate units (knots vs. miles per hour) to get accurate readings.
  • Casting Deck: Utilize the front deck for casting. It's usually the most stable part of the boat and gives you a better vantage point.
  • Safety Gear: Always have your safety gear accessible. Even if the boat is performing well, it's essential to be prepared for any situation.

If you have any specific questions about the boat's performance or need tips on bass fishing from a boat, feel free to ask! Tight lines! 🎣

The NEW BOAT... This is going to be wild! by RoKKiT KiT → shifted my weight around it's been good today just testing sort of where I should so get more my balance points especially because I've got a trip coming up maybe next week looks like the weather is going to sort of hold and we're going to tackle something that we did last year but yeah the foil seems to be improving the ride just a little bit from last week keeping nose down a little bit more and plus I've got another prop with slightly higher pitch so it should sort of just tweak just the motor to the optimum sort of performance for this kind of boat the boat is still it's actually not quite as long as the skiff but the usable deck area is all the way to the front it's perfect for jumping in off at the front because when you sort of dip it down you can actually just sort of slide off the front and just pull yourself up on it as well so it's perfect for things like spearfishing and free diving because it's inflatable can sit on the sides now so it increases not only in the deck area but I'll have all of this area and plus the payloads like 500 kilos plus so like I'll be able to load it up I'll have plenty of fuel and things with me and I'll be able to carry things that I couldn't carry before and super stable like I can stand

Glassy Water Pan Fish + Testing The Fixed Outboard by RoKKiT KiT → so so okay quick test pull okay well i have faith in it starting that's for sure but there's something not right it definitely feels like something's not right so hey hey hey guys um so i thought i'd take the little boat out for a bit of a test run that surf's right down in the bar it's pretty reasonable weather very little winter zero wind which is fantastic but this is the first time taking the boat out with uh the motor being fixed up just took it for a bit of a burn in the creek there and when i pick up a decent amount of speed you can feel it it's almost like as if it's on and off power like just for once it really goes once you've winded it right out i've let it warm right up and when you're right at it sort of full throttle uh it's almost as if it's going so something and even just when i just touch it a little bit in the bar i thought i felt it then so i might just have to keep the speed nice and low and uh stay relatively close in i don't want to get stuck out but it seems to be starting very well so hopefully it's reliable enough but it's nervous it makes me nervous so uh and every time i go over a bum for some reason my sound is turning off this

The Micro Boat Flies! New Fishing Skiff Maiden Voyage by RoKKiT KiT → it's looking pretty respectable yeah very slight way very minor it looks good doesn't fly that way we're gonna pick up too much stick on the edge here well look the sphere through this bar doesn't get much easier than this so we'll take it as a nice easy way through say let's just go for it standing things all right I only go flying over to click how cool is this and the Iping eyes if she's up all night to get some she's up all night forget for all night to get lucky your gift keeps on giving what is this I'm feeling that was a super successful test run it flies it really does fly the first problem with the sounder was I hadn't set the units properly once I figured that out so I was going at 20 what I thought was 20 KS and I was like man that's not that fast it feels like the pickup's real fast but it's got to be going faster than that anyway that was knots in the end so figured out it was in knots we can almost double that probably hit about a top speed of 40 I don't think I wound it out to full throttle at any stage so if you haven't checked out the the part 1 of this it's the full setup of this skiff so go and check it out if you haven't seen it
