Where is the best public lake for trophies using swimbaits?

Based on the video context provided, it seems like the best public lake for catching trophies using swimbaits would depend on the specific location and the type of swimbaits you are using. Different swimbaits excel in different situations and seasons, so it's important to choose the right bait for the conditions you are fishing in.

In the video "My Top 5 Swimbaits Of All Time!" by crazybassfisher, the angler mentions that the Gancraft 178 swimbait is effective during the post-spawn into summer months. This suggests that the lake he fishes locally is productive during this time. However, the specific name of the lake is not mentioned in the video.

In the video "How to Catch Fish YEAR ROUND with Big Swimbaits!" by Milliken Fishing, the angler discusses fishing offshore for brush pile fish or fishing for schooling fish on points during the summer period. He also mentions fishing shallow reservoirs with isolated cover. While he doesn't mention a specific lake, these strategies can be applied to various public lakes that have similar characteristics.

In the video "Fall Swimbait Tricks - Which Swimbaits Catch More Fish?" by TacticalBassin, the angler talks about using swimbaits in rocky areas and skipping them under docks. Again, he doesn't mention a specific lake, but these techniques can be effective in lakes with rocky structures and docks.

In the video "Swimbait Fishing For Bass | Full Seminar | Best Baits, Tricks, and Gear" by TacticalBassin, the angler discusses using glide baits and the S Waver 168 for slow swimming behind docks and targeting smallmouth and largemouth bass. While he doesn't mention a specific lake, these techniques can be applied to lakes with docks and areas where smallmouth and largemouth bass are present.

In the video "How To Catch Big Prespawn Bass On Big Swimbaits!" by crazybassfisher, the angler talks about fishing rocks and targeting pre-spawn bass with bottom baits and trout imitations. Again, he doesn't mention a specific lake, but lakes with rocky areas and stocked trout can be good options.

In the video "BEST Open Water Bass Lure? (Swimbait Fishing Tips) [Line-Thru Lure Tricks with Tournament Pro]" by The Bass University, the angler mentions fishing shallow points in early spring and summer with swimbaits. He doesn't mention a specific lake, but shallow points can be found in many public lakes.

Based on these video contexts, it's difficult to determine the best public lake for catching trophies using swimbaits without more specific information. However, the strategies and techniques discussed in the videos can be applied to various public lakes that have similar characteristics. It's important to research and explore lakes in your area that have the right structure, cover, and fish populations to maximize your chances of catching trophy bass with swimbaits.

My Top 5 Swimbaits Of All Time! by crazybassfisher the lake that I fish locally it's a really fun Lake to fish during uh you know post spawn Into Summer and it's just a really fun Lake just to go and have fun it's pretty close it's only like 35 40 minutes away and there's a ton of fish and they absolutely destroy this seven inch size bait and I feel like with the gancraft 178 a lot of guys aren't fishing it but I can fish it pretty fast it looks very much like a jerkbait in the water and the fish just absolutely crush it and so having a bait of this size that I can fish pretty fast during those months has just been an absolute blessing so again craft 178 Jeffy an honorable mention for one of my favorites and then the last honorable mention is going to be kind of like a three-way tie but that falls all under the same umbrella that is the working class zero battle shads or citizens either ones also like the 7.5 battle Shad 9.0 battle Shad or even like the citizen 7. these baits have been really really fun to fish throughout the few years that I've been fishing them and they're so versatile and you can fish them anywhere and when the fish are on the bottom and they're on Shad or they really want that Shad profile instead of you know a trout bait like the Magnum I mean it's

How to Catch Fish YEAR ROUND with Big Swimbaits! (BEST Bait for Each Situation) by Milliken Fishing if you got shot spawn going on these are the style of baits you want to throw during that season so moving on into the summer period we start to think about middle of summer a lot of people are going one or two different ways you're either fishing offshore for brush pile fish fishing for schooling fish on points stuff like that or a lot of guys are going up Shallow fishing for shade line fish just a shallow Reservoir in general a lot of your fish are gonna obviously have to stay up shallow but you're fishing a lot of isolated cover up Shallow and I'm going to give you baits for both of those situations first and foremost this guy is absolutely killer that's when you want a top water rat style bait an MS slam or something like that you can go into a lot of these areas where guys are traditionally pitching a jig or throwing a frog come back behind them with this right here I actually just got another new bait that's a weedless version of a crawling style bait if you guys are familiar with crawler baits that I'm not going to say is good because I haven't used it but I think it's going to be killer for this situation but again Supernatural obviously fish don't just sit around eating rats but they are opportunistic feeders this thing can mimic whatever just fell out of the tree
