What color crankbait works on Pickwick Lake?

Based on the video context from the first video, it seems that the color "Mellow Yellow" is a great choice for bass fishing on Pickwick Lake. The angler in the video mentions that it is a color that works year-round and is their new favorite. However, it's always a good idea to have a variety of colors in your tackle box to experiment with and see what the fish are responding to on any given day. Different colors may work better depending on the time of year, water clarity, and forage availability.

In the second video, the angler mentions that in clear water conditions, black and chartreuse and Purple Sage are go-to colors. So, if the water on Pickwick Lake is clear, these colors could also be effective.

Unfortunately, the third and fourth videos do not provide specific information about crankbait colors for Pickwick Lake. Therefore, it's best to rely on the information from the first two videos.

Remember, fishing can be unpredictable, and what works one day may not work the next. It's always a good idea to experiment with different colors and techniques to see what the bass are biting on.

Choosing Bass Fishing Crankbait Colors by Wired2Fish early in the spring when the fish first start to get out. Also we've got Sneaky Blue and I've done really well late post-spawn on all the Tennessee River lakes (Kentucky Lake, Lake Guntersville, Pickwick). That's also a great color. My new favorite is called Mellow Yellow, which will be out any day and be in the stores right now. It's a great looking color. This is probably a color that if you had to pick one color that would work year round; the Mellow Yellow would probably be the one I would go to. Then later in the summer when the water gets real clear and doesn't have much current flow the Nasty Herring is a real good color. It doesn't put off a lot of flash, its not a real overbearing color, it's a real natural color, and works good by fooling a lot of fish. But those are some of the colors and some of the times I like to use them. You should check them out! The Spro Fat Papa 70.

How to Choose which Color Crankbait for Any Situation (Bass Fishing) by Wheeler Fishing and try to take the clues that i see on the water and i'll also one thing that i will do if the water drops say on chickamauga or something like that um i'll even go out there and like maybe look for you know as as the summer wears on or is the spring wears on i'll actually get in some of these little creeks and stuff and actually wait and see what the color of the crawdads are in that given area i've even done this plenty around the country sort of helped me sort of understand if there is a certain main color a lot of color you know a lot of a lot of times in the summertime they're more like a green so you know that's why a green pumpkin like bandito bugs or something you know crawl color baits are good um but i've seen it also times where i'm down there in like louisiana and they're black and dark and you know and towards the springtime too so like a black neon like a little little maybe like some red hints so i think that's something as well paying attention to the forge you don't always have to be specific like dialed in but that is definitely like some of the ways that i select my crankbait colors and and really goes down to even i mean even you know going to jerkbait colors a little bit different
