What 5 lures should I throw for bass in Oklahoma in October?

Based on the video context, there are several lures that are recommended for bass fishing in Oklahoma during the month of October.

  1. Buzzbait: The first recommended lure is a buzzbait. This is a topwater lure that creates a buzzing sound and ripples on the water's surface to attract bass. In October, it is suggested to use a bigger buzzbait, such as a half ounce, as the water temperatures start to cool off. Some popular buzzbaits mentioned in the videos are the Mega Bass Jamaican Boa and the Lunker Lure Buzzbait with a gold blade.

  2. Crankbait: The second recommended lure is a crankbait. This is a diving lure that imitates a baitfish and is effective for covering a lot of water. In October, as the bass start to feed on other forage types, crankbaits become a good choice. It is suggested to hit the bottom with the crankbait to entice bites. The specific crankbait mentioned in the video is not clear, so it would be helpful to have more information or clarification.

  3. Football Head Jig: The third recommended lure is a football head jig. This is a jig with a football-shaped head and is typically used when fishing on the bottom. In October, as the water temperatures cool down, it is suggested to switch to chunk-style trailers for the jig. The specific football head jig mentioned in the video is the Missile Head Banger Jig.

  4. Glide Bait: The fourth recommended lure is a big glide bait. This is a larger bait that imitates a fish swimming in a gliding motion. It is suggested to use a big glide bait in October, but the specific size or brand is not mentioned in the video.

Please note that the information provided is based on the video context and may vary depending on the specific conditions and preferences of the angler. It is always a good idea to experiment with different lures and techniques to find what works best for you in your fishing location.

YOU Can't BEAT These 5 OCTOBER Lures by BassFishingHQ there that's again what happens a lot of time in this front part of fall now with that being said you may still run into a school of fish somewhere maybe you find the back of a pocket where there's fish that are kind of pushing a lot of bait in there and you can catch a lot of fish in a small area but what I've seen again in this front part of fall which happens a lot in October is the fish are just really spread out there's there's really no reason to fish the same area twice in unless there just happens to be one of those random schools in there now lure number three is one to me that is probably the most fun when the fish are on it and also the most frustrating at times and that is a bigger swimbait what I found out a several years back fishing lake Cherokee down in Tennessee is that there tends to be a small window especially on clearw lakes that have a lot of docks where they will bite this swimbait especially in the month of October now there are two specific swimbaits that I personally like they're ones that I have a ton of confidence in and they're not absolutely giant swimbaits I'm not a big uh 9 10 12in swimbait fisherman guy it's just something I don't have a lot of experience on so I can't really sit here
