Description

Largemouth bass are aptly named for their big mouths and are capable of eating prey that is over half of their body length. A three inch bluegill weighs around a quarter of an ounce. A six inch bluegill weighs around three ounces. A big bass does not want to waste energy chasing down chicken nuggets when it can eat a big juicy cheeseburger. Yet most bass fisherman throw lures in the 2-3” range hoping to catch a big fish. At 6” long and weighing around 3 ounces, the Gigolo features a natural bluegill profile and represents one of the most widely available food sources for largemouth bass across the country. Fish it slow on the surface and the two halves create the classic “wood” knock sound that triggers explosive topwater strikes! If you "Twitch it" using the rod or "Chop it" with the reel handle and it will walk while the hard tail splashes water. Reel it fast and it will dive up to 3 feet. Designed to mimic an injured bluegill, the Gigolo will roll on its side when it deflects off of cover triggering strikes. If it gets hung up in the weeds, rip it free with the rod and often it will get crushed. A versatile tool for your big bass arsenal, give them what they desire with The Gigolo.
