Description
The Beetle is an essential terrestrial pattern that shines in mid to late summer when beetles frequently fall into the water. Its foam body ensures excellent floatation, making it a great dry fly for targeting trout near overhanging vegetation. Fish it along grassy banks and meadow streams in August and September. A deadly option when trout are hesitant to eat hoppers.
