Description

The Shakey Jig Worm is a Bass Lab exlusive design and built in Collaboration with Brian Kohl, from Brian's Custom Tackle. This exclusive design is part finesse jig, part shakeyhead with some JDM inspired flair and natural fibers to sho something the bass haven't seen. The Shakey Jig Worm is tied with a variety of round silicone that mimics the springiness and action of round living rubber--we leave it extra long for some nice flow. Then we add just enough crystal flash to draw their attention, and finish it off "finesse jig" style with some natural material that is palmer tied up front. This bait will produce big bites--and numbers! It works especially well during the pre/post spawn when big females are looking for a bigger meal. Pair it up with a straight tail high float 5-7" finesse style worm and you've got a winning combination. The Shakey Jig Worm is responsible for some solid tournament winning $$$ down South. It has also produced many bass over 5 lbs for me on my home rivers--and is deadly effective for larger bites in the colder months. Just crawl it or shake it once you contact cover and let the natural fibers produce that subtle action to draw that bite. This bait is hand-tied on a 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 or 3/8 oz jig head with a recessed horizontal line tine to help you from hanging up. It sports a sticky sharp 3/0 hook for 1/8-1/4 oz and a 4/0 hook for the 3/8 oz model. The talon bait keeper is perfect for rigging shakey head style. Limited quantities.
