Deps SLIP HEAD JIG is a snag-resistant bass jig built for rocks, reefs, branches, and other heavy cover. Its bottom-oriented, fast-sinking design and “snugless” style make it a strong match when you want to keep a trailer worm moving naturally while fishing tight to structure.
Cast it to bottom cover, let it sink, then work it with short hops and slow crawls along the bottom. Keep contact with the structure, but use a controlled retrieve so it can slip through gaps instead of hanging up. Best when bass are holding tight to rocks or wood.
Switch to a different lure if fish are suspended off bottom, chasing bait in open water, or if the cover is too thick for a bottom jig to move cleanly. In those cases, a moving bait or weedless soft-plastic presentation may be better.
