Sparkie Bucktails for Fluke

Sparkies are one of several bucktails that were originally intended for freshwater use that found their way to saltwater. Forward balanced for proper presentation in low line angle situations such as wading flats, from a beach, from a boat or kayak in shallow water. Like all the bucktails I make these feature Mustad 2x strong, forged and plated hooks, generous amounts of deer hair, heat cured powder paint for chip resistance and epoxy coated wraps to stand up to toothy critters. Catching Fluke (summer flounder), Weakfish, small Blues and Stripers and the usual collection of game fish are all possible with Sparkie bucktails. An appropriate size grub tail or a small strip of squid are a good addition.
