A tungsten beadhead nymph is designed to get down quickly and drift near the bottom where trout feed. It works well in riffles, runs, and pocket water, especially when fished under an indicator or as part of a tight-line/euro setup.

Pros

  • Can be too flashy in very clear or heavily pressured water
