Best worked on a steady slow to medium retrieve to create a loud, random surface commotion. Use it when you want to call fish up with noise and flash, especially around active predators that respond to topwater presentations.

Pros

  • Very loud metallic clank and spinning blade for strong surface attraction
  • Random action can trigger reaction strikes
  • Hand-carved wood construction with replaceable spreaders and quality hardware

Cons

  • Heavy 2.6 oz bait requires stout tackle
  • Topwater presentation is less effective in cold or inactive conditions
  • Can be too noisy for pressured fish
