Description

7" Clacker Swimbait The 7” Clacker is a smooth hard bait with no fins and 3 owner treble hooks held in place with swivels so it moves independently of the bait to keep the fish on during the fight. The tail hook helps catch those frustrating fish that eat the tail that wouldn’t normally get hooked. It is made out of hard material to give it a “clacking” sound when fished at a fast pace through the water. This bait can be reeled fast, while still swimming strait. It can also be fished slowly to get those lazy fish to strike. This bait is a slow sink weighing 2.5oz and sinks approximately 1 foot every 2 seconds. Hand made in the U.S.A Sink Rate: Slow Sink Weight: 2.5oz Body Length:7" Overall Length: 7" Recommended Rod: 7' heavy Recommended Line: 15-20 pound fluorocarbon

Field Notes

Use this hard clacker swimbait when you want a straight, fast retrieve that still stays fishable at slower speeds. It’s designed to keep fish pinned during the fight with independently moving treble hooks, and the clacking sound helps trigger reaction strikes.

Pros

  • Hard bait with clacking sound for fast retrieves
  • 3 Owner treble hooks with independent movement to improve hookup rates
  • Can be fished fast or slowly while swimming straight
  • Slow-sinking action (about 1 ft per 2 seconds)

Cons

  • Best results likely require heavier tackle/line due to 2.5 oz weight
  • Not ideal if you only fish shallow surface presentations
