150mm white cedar shallow running minnow. The white cedar was purchased in Malney in Queensland in August 2022. The lure is constructed with a single lead weighted belly hook hanger.

A shallow-running minnow like this is best for covering water over flats, points, and shallow structure where bass are feeding near the surface or just below it. Use a steady retrieve with occasional pauses or twitches to imitate a fleeing baitfish, especially around rock, timber, or sparse vegetation.
