Banksia or as I like to call it the tree of the black cockatoo from my own observations of these beautiful birds sitting in the banksia trees pulling apart the spiked cones to find the seeds. There are some 170 varities of banksia and more being developed as it has become quite a landscaping gardner's friend these days.
