The 4.6” TapWorm is another fantastic collaboration bait between Epic Bait Molds and Marling Baits. The body is both ribbed and tapered. The short, curved tail is very unique, featuring a slit in the thickest portion promoting extra, yet subtle, action. Combine it all and you get a beautiful “ribbon tail worm/curly tail grub” crossover!
Rigging options include (but are certainly not limited to) shaky head, ned rig, neko rig, texas rig, split shot rig, full size Carolina rig… even a drop shot (who says you can’t drop shot a curly tail worm?)! Another great option would be cutting down the body 1-2” before the tail and rigging it on a small jig head (just like you’d fish a curly tail grub).
