Wire Tags for Tails Flags aka Tail Wigs

If you’re looking for wires to tie your own bucktail/feather tail flags, these are exactly the same wire tags we use. If you’ve purchased these from us in the distant past, they’re now even better! Bent and cut on an automated industrial wire bending machine, these are now more consistent, cleaner, and burr-free! Made from the same 0.062” Stainless Steel wire that we use for all of our plug building, these wire tags are cut to just the right size. These are manufactured by the same facility that bends and cuts all of our through-wires, so they come out perfectly identical (and by the tens of thousands!). Now available in two sizes! The standard size remains unchanged, but we had one plug builder would wanted a larger loop on his tail flags. Take a look through the pictures to see the size difference, but the XL Size is roughly 5/16” inner diameter before pinching the loop closed. Depending on how tight you squeeze them shut, the XL Size closes to approximately 1/4” inside diameter. The shank is exactly the same length. Assuming we didn’t make a mistake on the math, all of our components are priced to be slightly cheaper per unit, the larger the quantity pack you purchase.
