The Wild Card Finesse Jig, built around a 60 degree, medium wire, Gamakastu hook, features a custom round ball, stand-up head that is designed to fish though a variety of cover and remain upright. These jigs also come with a two-toned fiber weed guard and proven hybrid skirt color pattern (hybrid skirts blend both "old school" flat living rubber and silicone). Wild Card Finesse Jigs come in standard (4/0 hook) and compact (3/0 hook) sizes. Features:

Field Notes

Cast and work the jig through cover where you want it to stay upright and resist fouling. Use a steady retrieve with occasional hops/short lifts to trigger bites, especially around weeds, rocks, and brush.

Pros

  • Stand-up head design helps the jig remain upright through cover
  • Two-toned fiber weed guard improves snag resistance
  • Hybrid skirt blends flat rubber and silicone for a versatile action

Cons

  • Weed guard may reduce hook-up speed if you set too lightly
  • Best results depend on matching jig size/hook size to cover and target
