Description

Building off our original Kooshball Micro PWR design, the XT version stands for Xtra Tough as it is built to be a true 4x4 power fishing micro jig adapted for more heavy cover applications. Poured on a slightly larger premium 2/0 2X strong VMC hook, the PWR XT is a compact profile that is stout all the way around. Featuring a stout fiber brush guard, premium hand-tied skirts, durable powder paint, custom colors, custom head design, and a dual lead barb bait keeper system, the micro PWR XT is built to fish a micro profile in the thick stuff where the fish never see this profile. Pair it up with our 2.5" Koosh Craw for the perfect bite-sized crawfish presentation that can fool even the most pressured bass, and have the horsepower to bring them out once they bite.

Field Notes

Use this micro jig in heavy cover where bass can be pressured and visibility is limited. Cast or flip to thick vegetation/structure and let it fall, then work it with short lifts and crawls to keep the compact profile in the strike zone.

Pros

  • Xtra Tough micro jig built for heavy cover
  • Stout fiber brush guard for snag resistance
  • Premium hand-tied skirts and durable powder paint
  • Dual lead barb bait keeper system
  • Designed for a compact crawfish presentation (pair with Koosh Craw)

Cons

  • Micro profile may be less effective on larger, open-water baitfish patterns
  • Best results require targeting thick cover rather than open water
