Description

White Monster is a limited soft plastic swimbait colorway. It’s available on the RX Paddle Tail and RX Slug — two of the most versatile handcrafted soft plastics in the [FISH]rx lineup for SoCal inshore bass. You know what keeps me going during a night session or a tournament. This color came straight from that. Pale white base, a flash of green, black accents that pop in the water column. Inspired by what’s in my cup holder on a long fishing day — not affiliated with or endorsed by any beverage brand. White works when other colors don’t. It reads clean in clear water. It shows up in low light. When bait schools are around and fish are keyed into a lighter profile, this is the colorway I reach for. The flash of green gives it just enough life without going loud. I run this in small batches out of the LA shop. It moves fast every time. Same plastic, same small-batch build — just a color that’s been getting bites since the day I poured the first one. How to fish it: On the RX Slug, fish it weightless or drop shot around pylons for a clean slow fall. On the RX Paddle Tail, run it on a lead head or behind the Cheapskate when spotties are keyed into baitfish. Check out Blacktail Fishing for hook setups that work with both. Limited stock. Made in Los Angeles. Sold individually.

Field Notes

Use this pale/flashy swimbait color when you want a clean, lighter profile that still has a subtle life-giving accent. In clear water, it helps when fish key on bait schools; in low light it remains visible without being too loud. Fish it on the RX Slug weightless or on a drop shot for a slow fall, and on the RX Paddle Tail with a lead head or behind a Cheapskate when bass are relating to baitfish.

Pros

  • Clean white profile for clear water and lighter bait presentations
  • Green flash adds subtle life without being overly loud
  • Works in low light and around bait schools

Cons

  • Limited stock
  • Color effectiveness depends on matching the lighter bait profile
