This is a fantastic lure that has recently been responsie for the majority of my good Medium Light catches lately in the tropics. GIant trevally go wild for this 8 dollar bait. This lure is easily walked with low or high retrieve reel systems. I use it with either an extremely fast 8’2” Tenryu Lunakiya or my fast but bouncy Major Craft N-one 86 Shore Jigging rod. Wtd is no cakewalk and usually requires a lot of fine-tuning with regard to gear. This one does not.

This really is a hidden gem. Perfect frequency for summer fishing. I much more prefer this bait to any other mirro-lure or spook believe it or not. I got it in a mystery tackle box, and slayed that one top water for a solid 2 weeks of fishing hard before I finally lost it to a red. The hooks are great on it too, and that’s a big thing. Slays on the Texas coast… that simple. Multiple limits of reds, and multiple trout over Texas regs. The way this bait walks in the water I’ve never seen before. Sleek and even turns but still gives out a good solid rattle.
