Description

This fly came as an evolution of the Amber Wing Prince and Dark Lord as well as the Birds Nest and Hares Ear. It works great as a caddis attractor and general attractors. For me it came to be guiding on the Lower Sac and Lower Yuba for trout. I like it in sizes 14-16 during most caddis hatches and even down to 18 for some of the smaller caddis. This pattern is available for US shipping only.

This is a trout nymph/attractor pattern designed to imitate or suggest caddis and other subsurface food forms. Fish it under an indicator, as part of a nymph rig, or as a dropper in riffles, runs, and pocket water when trout are feeding below the surface. It is especially useful during caddis hatches and in general attractor situations.
