Field Notes

Use this conventional surf rod for casting from shore in surf conditions. Pair it with a compatible conventional reel (as suggested by the manufacturer) and target inshore species by adjusting casting distance and lure weight to the rod’s action.

Surfing for Red Drum Just received this new rod and it’s awesome. Shipping and delivery was quick and rod arrived in excellent condition. Have not used it yet but just attached my favorite casting reel and looking forward to getting to beach and getting my line wet. I would recommend this rod for long casting and knocking down some big drums.
