The River Rat Hybrid Swim Jig is a new collaboration with Gary Sheets from 9K Elite Lures. I always wanted to carry one jig that I could swim, skip and drag, and it's finally here--and built the way I want right here in the good ole USA! With hand tied premium soft skirt material, oversized eyes, stout hook, perfect flex weed guard and a badass trailer keeper system. The River Rat Hybrid Swim Jig is a bullet shaped jig that you can swim, flip, skip and drag. It features a custom hand-tied skirt in Bass Lab approved colors--and we added just a hint of Flashabou that helps draw strikes when you work it through the water column. This jig is built on a 30 degree stout 4/0 Owner Deep Throat hook with an encapsulated line tie so it comes cleanly through grass and cover. The bottom of the jig head is also flattened slightly to keep it balanced and tracking straight--which also helps you skip this jig where you want it. I also love an oversized eye and this jig delivers on the Bugged Eyes! Finally, there's a two-point staggered barb keeper system to lock your trailers in place which saves you time and money. This keeper locks the trailer in so you don't have to constantly reseat your plastic or have it come off your bait when your skipping, ripping or snapping your jig through cover!
