Use on a jighead or light weighted setup and work it with short, twitchy retrieves to make the split tail kick. Best when you can feel the lure load and then pause briefly to let it settle and attract strikes.

Pros

  • Split-tail action adds vibration and kick on the retrieve
  • Bright neon color stands out in stained water

Cons

  • Requires a jighead/rigging weight (not included in the lure itself)
  • Neon colors may be less effective in very clear, pressured conditions
