This is a skirted bass jig, best used around cover where a compact profile and weedless presentation matter. Pitch or cast it to docks, laydowns, grass edges, and rocky banks, then work it with short hops or a slow drag along the bottom.

Pros

  • Versatile for flipping, pitching, and casting

Cons

  • Can be less effective in very open water than moving baits
  • Requires some bottom-contact skill to fish well
