The Laker-S ice rod is a 48" heavy weight fiberglass spinning rod designed for big predatory fish. The inspiration for this rod came from the demand from anglers who have a passion for chasing world class Lake Trout on Flaming Gorge Reservoir where fish can be in excess of 50 pounds. This rod has a moderate action with enough strength to handle large baits while maintaining excellent play in the rod to handle the large head shakes that Trophy Lake trout are notorious for.
