Description

The BassMooch 12" Kowikkee Worm is named after Kowikkee Creek, on famed Lake Eufaula, which is the birthplace of fishing large plastic worms in and around off-shore structure and cover. The BassMooch 12” Kowikkee Worm is built with a thin, but wide mesmerizing ribbon tail design and a thick body. This design pushes water, flutters, and undulates with the slightest movement which makes this worm a dominant presentation. Ideal for ledge fishing, brush piles, and grass flats, the Kowikkee Worm is absolutely deadly on a Texas-rig, but is also very effective on a Carolina-rig and an oversize shaky head. Poured under strict requirements to get a seamless balance between glitter and color combinations, the BassMooch Kowikkee Worm is the perfect tool to target kicker-sized bass.

Field Notes

Use the 12" Kowikkee Worm on Texas-rig for pitching ledges, brush piles, and grass flats, especially around offshore structure and cover. It also works well on a Carolina-rig or an oversize shaky head to keep the worm swimming/undulating with minimal movement.

Pros

  • Thin, wide ribbon tail creates strong water push, flutter, and undulation with minimal movement
  • Versatile: Texas-rig, Carolina-rig, and oversize shaky head
  • Designed for kicker-sized bass around structure and cover

Cons

  • Not a dedicated jig head—requires a rig setup (Texas/Carolina/shaky head)
