Once soaked they do sink like Marabou (like a rock), and have the silk like action of fur. Jimmy D’s Fur Tails have a natural “sheen” to them. The fibers are black tipped, muck like tails of minnows. Field Notes

This is a streamer-style fly with a fur body and marabou-like movement, designed to imitate small baitfish or other prey. It is best fished with strips or swings in moving water, or with short erratic retrieves in still water to make the fibers pulse and breathe. The sinking materials help it get down quickly to feeding fish.
