Description

Casting , Jig and Bottom Bouncer Rigs allows any size Gator Tube to be fished from the shallows to deep water. New Tube Toboggan Casting rigs are lighter and slow sinking with the line tie that protrudes directly out the front of the nose of the tube. They work well when the tube is used for slow retrieves or as a jerk bait. Jig rigs are heavier and faster sinking with a line tie that protrudes at a 60 degree angle near the top of the head of the tube. This rig is meant for casting with a yo-yo retrieve in deeper water or vertical jigging. Bottom Bouncer rigs vary from a moderate to fast sink with a line tie that protrudes at a 60 degree angle near the top of the head of the tube. This rig is designed to be dragged along the bottom with all hooks located on the top of the tube. 11/13″ Bottom Bouncer kit includes 1 screw in magnet for back treble hook positioning. All the hardware to rig one tube is included. All rigs will fit in tubes with a 1″ inside diameter. We pour all our rigs with Linotype Lead Alloy, the hardest lead available. This means all hooks and wires don't loosen up in the lead like cheaper soft lead. Harder lead means less chances of rig failure on big fish. Easy to rig, simply join the main body (weighted) section with a split ring to the trailer wire. Insert the main body into the tube and push the eye through the head. Then pop both hook hangers out the bottom of the tube and your ready to add your hooks.

Field Notes

This is a tube jig/casting rig kit for rigging Gator Tubes, with options for shallow casting, deeper yo-yo retrieves, vertical jigging, and bottom-bouncing. Use the lighter casting rig for slow retrieves or a jerkbait-style presentation, and the heavier rig when you need the tube to get down quickly and stay near bottom. It is designed for big-fish tube fishing in both shallow and deep water.

Pros

  • Multiple rig styles for different depths and retrieves
  • Includes all hardware needed to rig one tube
  • Hard lead construction helps prevent hook/wire loosening

Cons

  • Specialized for 11/13-inch tubes with 1-inch inside diameter
  • Heavier rig may be too much for shallow or ultra-slow presentations
