While researching bass reactions to various lures, we discovered that fish overwhelmingly prefer a backslide fall over a horizontal flutter fall. As a result, our engineering team focused on designing a large spoon that consistently backslides on the fall. We achieved the perfect balance between blade thickness and an asymmetrical body shape through extensive prototyping and testing. This design ensures a swift backslide fall, even when the line is slack.
