BERKLEY® FluoroShield™ is the best of both worlds; a co-polymer with a fluorocarbon infusion. The fluorocarbon infusion “shields” the co-polymer increasing its abrasion resistance while maintaining invisibility underwater and manageability for optimized casting distance.
Use as main line when you want a balance of castability, abrasion resistance, and low visibility underwater. It’s a good choice for general casting applications around cover or clear water where fluorocarbon-like stealth matters but you still want easier handling than straight fluoro.
