Field Notes

Use this finesse swim jig on a slow, controlled retrieve (“Slow & Low”) to keep it near cover and in the strike zone. Cast to edges of weeds/structure, let it settle briefly, then swim it slowly while maintaining contact so the hook can set on the medium-wire hook.

Pros

  • Finesse compact design for subtle presentations
  • Light fiber weed guard helps deflect light cover
  • Chemically sharpened Hayabusa hook for reliable hookups
  • Streamlined snagless head for better weed/cover penetration
  • Bulging chartreuse eyes and mylar skirt add flash from multiple angles

Cons

  • 3/8 oz may be less ideal than heavier options in strong current or deep water (if applicable)
