Bug-Bites: Mighty Small, But Mighty Good! I wanted another “Pan Fish Jig”, something different. I had a Raccoon skin on the wall under a Red Fox mount. I would often run my fingers through the fur of each critter; beautiful, soft fur, somewhat like Marabou except stronger. I was starting to look at that Raccoon in a different light. I have used the coon tails forever, but what a waste to throw the rest away. So, you & I now have a new bait. Now, it’s brand new, so no history. So far, Rainbow Trout fall fishing in Idaho: up to 21″ -18″ in one day. Finally, I got some Bug-Bites into the hands of a young friend right here in Minnesota. He fished Bug-Bites through the ice and caught a couple limits worth of sunfish; no tipping needed on this bait! So, as we start a new fishing season – let me know how it fishes! Your friend, Jimmy D.
