Constructed with a durable polymer lexan lip with a thru lip line tie design, the Black Label Badger SR Balsa Crankbait is built to cover all types of cover in the 3 to 4 ft range. When designing this model, Cliff was wanting a bait that would be easy to cast accurately around cover but also small enough to get bite on tough days. The end result was a great little squarebill that can be fished effectively year around and in almost all types of cover be it rocks, wood, grass edges, or just clean clay or gravel banks. It also is a bait that can excel in clearer as well as more stained water conditions. “The Black Label Badger SR is a great bait for covering all types of cover. Last year when I originally made the deeper badger many guys started asking me if I planned to make a shallower squarebill model. I soon realized I definitely wanted to accomplish that project and started work on the SR (shallow runner) model. The result has been one great little squarebill bait.” ~ Cliff Pace. Equipped with two black nickel Mustad TG76 trebles and built with the same 45 step process as all Black Label products, the Black Label Badger SR helps feel the gap in depth in the mid range area. All Black Label Balsa baits are made by hand out of premium balsa wood by Bassmaster Classic Champion Cliff Pace.
