This box is built around the Bitterroot's summer hatch calendar — caddis, PMDs, golden stoneflies, and grasshoppers. Every fly was chosen with dry fly fishing and hopper-dropper rigs along the banks in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year. Pro tip from the water: The upper Bitterroot above Hamilton offers excellent wading access and less pressure than the lower river in summer.
