Field Notes

Use these screwlock jigheads with paddle tail soft plastics when you need a secure bait hold and a heavier presentation. They are suited to casting from shore or boat, especially in current or when targeting larger inshore fish with 5.25" to 7.75" paddletails.

Pros

  • Heavy-duty screwlock keeps soft plastics secure
  • Multiple weight and hook-size options
  • Good for shore, boat, and faster water

Cons

  • Requires matching soft plastic size to jighead
  • Heavier weights may be less subtle in shallow water
