Alpha Series Reel

Our Alpha series has seen several variations over the course of a decade, and we're excited to release the best version yet! The upgraded Alpha reel series takes the drag system of the Alpha III and Trout II series and improves upon it, with stronger pawl tabs, carbon drag discs, and improved drag power. A U-shaped spool allows for even line pick-up, so when a big fish takes you deep into your backing, you’ll be ready for it. You'll notice improvements in the aesthetics and ergonomics of the reel as well, making both drag adjustment and spool swapping easier. Now there is an Alpha reel available for most species you chase on a fly, and it will tame them all!
