Absolutely incredible rod! I own a lot of fly rods and have tried many more as I’ve worked for a fly fishing manufacturer (the big one!) for the past 12 years. This rod is my new favorite, by a longshot! Great sensitivity, power, everything one could want. Will there be a better rod someday? Sure, but it’s not here yet!

Winston's have everyone fishing with you green with envy. I fished the 5-piece 5wt Air 2 on the Big Hole for three days using a Rio Gold and dry/dropper rig. Every day was an 8+ hour float of continuous casting and mending. The rod was spot-on, effortless and with backbone to handle big fish. There is no compromise with this 5-piece. I got it with backpacking and MTBing in mind. But after my first outing, it has been upgraded to my "go to" all arounder. There is just no reason not to.
