The "OKEECHOBEE TOAD" is a solid body 4.5" frog bait with paddle feet and a hook slot in the back. The OKEECHOBEE TOAD gets its name from its ability to bring in the big ones on Lake Okeechobee. A lot of local anglers swear by it for catching almost record sizes of the invasive Snake Heads though out South Florida. Whether your fishing for bass or Snake Heads, you pretty much fish the Okeechobee Toad the same for both species. Set it up with a 6/0 or 7/0 screw loc or off set shank hook. Most people fish the Okeechobee Toad weightless but some people have had good results fishing them weighted. You just cast it out and drag it in. Running it along the surface creating all kinds of commotion that drives the fish crazy.
