Description

The Strong bass and perch have so many improvements over my previous bait the Hardbass that it had to have its own name. The Strong bass and perch are made with my super resin which I believe to be the most durable resin used in hard swimbaits. The Strong bass and perch use my socket joints which are more stealthy then standard V notched joints plus they allow for more travel. Each joint uses two stainless steel screw eyes for superior strength and smooth swimming action. I even stepped up my game on the paint jobs. Each bait is hand painted by me from start to finish and some patterns have over 30 individual steps and layers per bait and several coats of very durable, very glossy clear. Each tail is made of an extremely durable rubber and should never need to be replaced. The baits have a nice thump that you and the fish can feel as you retrieve the bait. They are very versatile and can be fished many different ways. You can rip and twitch them, dead stick them ,burn them or swim them slow and steady, and everything else in between. The lipless version will also easily do a 180 with a sharp twitch. The Strong bass and perch large are approximately 7.75 inches and weighs between 3.4 to 4.15 oz. It comes in 5 different sink rates including Billed wake bait, floating, slow sinking, medium sinking, and fast sinking. Each bait comes equipped with 3x strong split rings and Owner St-41 hooks. 7.75" Length, Weight - 3.45 to 4.15 oz Comes in 5 different sink rates: Billed wake bait, floating, slow sinking, medium sinking and fast sinking. Each bait comes equipped with 3x strong split rings and Owner St-41 hooks.

Field Notes

A large hard swimbait for targeting big bass with a realistic perch/bass profile and strong thumping swim. It can be burned, slow-rolled, ripped, twitched, or dead-sticked, and the lipless version can be worked with sharp twitches for a 180-degree turn. Best around open-water structure, points, and other areas where a larger forage imitation can draw reaction strikes.

Pros

  • Durable hard-resin construction
  • Hand-painted with detailed finishes
  • Multiple sink-rate options for different retrieves
  • Strong hardware and hooks included

Cons

  • Large profile can be too much for pressured fish
  • Higher price point
  • Requires heavier tackle and more advanced retrieve control
