My buddy, Brian Doyle, and I were out fishing for smallmouth bass on Lake St. Clair near Detroit , Michigan when we came across a big surprise. What we thought it was a muskie was a 40 + inch pike caught on smallmouth bass gear. Needless to say it took a while to bring him in.
