I spent a few hours chasing inner harbour kahawai surface schools with my saltwater fly fishing gear. It was a fun few hours on the Waitemata harbour here in Auckland, New Zealand. While I only caught a few small kahawai the surface action was entertaining and a tope shark even turned up.
