Description

Rigged and ready to fish! A proven Murray cod favourite, the ZMan ChatterBait Big Blade is now available in a pre-rigged version for anglers that prefer to fish it with a soft plastic trailer, for additional bulk and action. A quality, colour-matched soft plastic trailer, designed with a stinger pocket, is pre-rigged and ready to fish! ChatterBait Big Blade features a direct head-to-blade connection for that super-tuned sound and action, with an oversized, stainless steel, hex-shaped blade that draws the big bites. Built around a custom heavy-duty Mustad 6/0 Ultrapoint hook, to handle monster fish, other features include quality, wire-tied silicne skirts, and a moulded, dual conical keeper to lock that trailer in place. Another exciting development to the range is the addition of two new colours, Carp and Redfin, both of which are sure to become favourites, and expand on the previous range of popular Custom Aussie Colours. Fish on!

Field Notes

Use this when you want a loud, high-vibration moving bait that calls fish from a distance. The oversized blade and rigged soft-plastic trailer make it a strong choice for covering water and triggering reaction strikes, especially around cover or when fish want a bigger profile.

Pros

  • Big blade creates strong vibration and sound
  • Pre-rigged with a matched soft-plastic trailer
  • Heavy-duty hook suited to large fish

Cons

  • Bulky profile can be too much for finicky fish
  • Best when fish are willing to chase a moving bait
