Use tungsten putty to add weight to flies, jigs, or other rigs by pressing it onto the line/leader or tying it into place. It’s especially useful when you need to fine-tune sink rate or casting/feel without changing the whole lure.

Pros

  • Putty can wear off or shift if not secured well
