Wide Gap Hook

The Classic Mustad Wide Gap hook is an essential addition to almost any tackle box. It features a slightly reversed hook point that helps keep bait and fish secure after hookset. It is designed for fast penetration being hollowed or rounded out between the tip of the barb and the tip of the point. The outer side of the point is straight. Much like a circle hook, this hook will almost lock itself in the jaw. Great for Barramundi, Snook, Australian Bass or Perch fished with a float or bottom rig.
