POND ROD Got this at the bottom of a pond a few months ago it was down there for like 5 weeks and still works great and ive even caught 50 lbs gar on it

Camo rod I love this combo I got it from Walmart about a year ago now and I got originally for catfishing and big fish in the delta. I upgraded the reel to a shimano curado 300 and I’ve pulled it some big sharks with this set up. I also have a regular gx2 medium heavy and that’s my other ocean rod love them!!

Reel is horrible Just doing regular casting as I was fishing for pike and bought this Walmart not even a year ago and it won’t cast anymore no matter the adjustments or what I do, very disappointed and can’t even return it because I don’t have a receipt 120$ setup down the drain! Don’t even have money to get a new pole so looks like I’m not fishing for a while, very disappointed with shimano!
