Description

TPE SAFE = TPE or 10X BAITS. NON-TPE = Common PVC soft baits, and hard lures. All the CHASEBAITS TPE Safe Trays can store both TPE and Non-TPE lures . The main difference is these trays are made from a unique material that will not react with your TPE lures. If you store Non-TPE lures in the same tray as TPE lures it is critical they cannot touch each other . Store them in a separate compartment. If they do touch each other they will melt together and each lure will be ruined. Do not leave TPE Safe Tackle Trays in direct sunlight for long periods of time, can cause damage to lures and tackle tray. TPE stands for ThermoPlastic Elastomer... Commonly known as 10X or Elaztech (Zman terminology), it is buoyant, extremely tough and roughly 10 times more resistant than PVC baits to nicks, cuts and tears... We have taken the guess work out of storing your lures, by creating these TPE Safe Tackle Trays to help keep your prized baits in optimum condition and to help you keep up the Chase! All these trays feature Waterproof seals (exc. double decker) , Heavy duty latches and made from Shock Resistant materials . DIMENSIONS: MEDIUM - TPE Safe Classic Tray, 270mm x 180mm x 50mm LARGE - TPE Safe Classic Tray, 355mm x 230mm x 60mm - TPE Safe Anti-Rattle/Vibe Tray, 300mm x 220mm x 60mm - TPE Safe 50/50 Foam Tray, 355mm x 230mm x 60mm DOUBLE DECKER - TPE Safe, 355mm x 245mm x 76mm

Field Notes

Use these trays to organize and protect soft baits and hard lures, especially TPE/Elaztech-style plastics that can react with standard PVC storage. The compartmented design helps keep baits separated so they do not melt together, and the waterproof, shock-resistant construction is suited to boat, bank, or travel storage.

Pros

  • TPE-safe material helps prevent bait melting
  • Waterproof seals and heavy-duty latches
  • Multiple tray configurations for different lure types

Cons

  • Not intended for direct sunlight for long periods
  • Non-TPE lures must be kept separated from TPE lures
