Field Notes

Best for covering water and triggering reaction strikes from pike and musky. The twin blades and marabou dressing create strong flash and vibration, making it a good choice for steady retrieves along weed edges, over open water, or around structure. It can also be burned faster in low-light conditions to call fish from a distance.

Pros

  • Large profile for big predators
  • Twin blades add flash and vibration
  • Marabou dressing gives extra movement

Cons

  • Large size may be tiring to cast all day
  • Can be too much bait for pressured fish
  • Twin treble setup can be snag-prone in cover
