The Spring Nymph Selection - NEW for 2025

The Barbless Spring Nymph Selection is a selection of 5 styles of commonly used nymphs - which are especially successful in the Spring (March, April, May - and even June). We are supplying 5 different patterns of nymph - In total, there are 15 nymphs supplied in our eco-friendly packaging. These flies are great all year round but work especially well for those tricky early season trout in April & May. All of the flies included within this selection are tied on the best hooks in the business - AHREX (see individual fly descriptions for more details). Descriptions and images of the flies can be found below (should you want to buy the flies individually, please click on the fly titles): The Spring Jig - This Nymph is a generic nymph, in that it represents many olive and caddis nymphs, and is often used as a searching pattern. Its shaggy appearance resembles many species of nymphs when they shed their skins or shucks as they progress into the next stage of their life. These nymphs are tied on an AHREX FW551 jig hook with a 2.5mm gunmetal tungsten bead. We are supplying three Spring Jig's in this selection. The Olive John - The Olive John is a generic early-season insect imitation. In the early-season, the nymphs are small and have an olive tone. This nymph is tied on a size 16 AHREX FW531 , with an added tungsten bead to get down a little quicker. We are supplying three Olive Johns in this selection. The Peeping Caddis - A tan-toned peeping caddis pattern tied to mimic the Caddis in its larval stage. A fly that is tied on an AHREX FW511 in a size 12 and is handy in the box all season long. We are supplying three Peeping Caddis in this selection. The Copper John v2.0 - One of the best nymphs available, it will catch fish all year round, in any water! This variant of the Copper John is tied on a size 16 AHREX FW531 barbless hook with a tungsten bead to get down a little faster. We are supplying three Copper John v2.0's in this selection. The Micro Caddis - An Olive toned free drifting caddis pattern tied to mimic the Caddis insects found in UK waters, in its larval stage. A fly that is handy in the box all season, but comes into its own from May through to August. Tied on a size 16 AHREX FW541 barbless hook.
