Out of the box they're really stout. Good strong hooks, no need to swap em out. I haven't fished em yet but I'm sure they're going to cast well. Can't wait to fish em.

The Skipper has become my #1/Go-To top water lure for Stripers! I love how easy it walks. I’ve noticed that each stride is about a foot to two feet. Which, covers more surface area. This along with the thunk, thunk sound calls them up. I’ve found a nice slow cadence works great. It really seems to anger stripers eliciting that strike! I replaced the trailing treble with a circle hook and that hasn’t hindered the action on it.
